Ditting USA buys back used Ditting coffee grinders so that we can recondition them and then offer them back into the market at lower costs for start-up businesses.
We do have some requirements when considering buying back used equipment:
- The grinder must be completely free from rust. Even the tiniest bit of rust in the base can cause great problems throughout the machine, and we need to be able to ensure all grinders we recondition can meet our standards.
- The grinder must be in working condition. The motor is the most critical electrical component in the grinder. If it is damaged, the rest of the grinder does not have any value for us.
- Ideally, we are looking for Ditting grinders that do not have broken or missing components. If a grinder has been scavenged for parts, or if critical components are damaged, the value of the grinder goes down.
- We are no longer accepting brown or caramel color Ditting grinders. These are the oldest Ditting grinders and no longer meet the certifications required in the U.S.
Buy-back value can be determined with photographs and description of the grinder along with the model and serial number (located on the back of the machine). Once the grinder is received back to us, we will confirm the grinder is in the condition described and will then issue a check for the agreed upon amount.
